I by removal of the air considered as a cause of deterioration
1. Preserving the de- -coction of Laercitron Bark from being spoiled by boiling heat applied for the purpose of eva- -poration. See Ban- -croft 321. 2. Extraction of Air bubbles from glass while in the melt- -ing pot in the in- -stance of achromater glass for telescopes. 3- in the instance of glass for cooking glasses.
