S. Judges &c Aid compelling function.

Act 1. Aid compelling function: This function is exercised where
for giving execution & effect to any legislation ordinance denough
mediocre of the judicial authority, the physical power of the ministerial
subordinate of the judicatory being insufficient or not
at hand a demand has place for such other apistance as the
state of things furnishes

Act 2. of the purposes for which the need of the exercise
of this function may have place, the following are examples.
1. Discovery or pursuit of a latent or fugitive malefactor or other
defendant or proposed defendant.
2. Prehension of one, from whom resistance has been experienced
