Journeyman delivers coat
to another customer — you
are in possession if customer
Seeing the mistake is wiling
to return it.,

But here comes a mistake. The taylor has a customer
who has fixt upon the same pattern that you chose a joinery
man taking your coat for less has delivered your coat to
this other customer. Are you now in possession of it? Yes:
if the other same customer recognizing the mistake declares himself
willing, and upon it being put to him how, is willing<lb/and prepared to return it.

But he takes a fancy to
your coat & refuses to let
you have it. He now has
possession of it, not you.

But now suppose this mind of yours (say) has
taken a fancy to your coat: and, having their
refuses to let you have it. Can you now be in
with propriety be said to have it? No assuredly: for t by
or suppose he refuses to the supposition he will not let you have it. [It is then not he then is the
in your possession; but in his man in whose possession it is: —he not you.] His then is the
possession of it; not yours: in him the possession of it; not
in you.
