Be it therefore Enacted by the
King's most Excellent Majesty by and
with the advice and consent of the
Lords Spiritual and Temporal and
Commons in the present Parliament
assembled and by the authority of the
same That the following Cities Liberties
Parishes Precincts and Places shall be
united into one District to be called

The Cities of London
and Westminster and Borough of Southwark
and parts of adjacent
united into a District
The District of the Metropolis for
the better carrying into execution the
Provisions and Regulations herein
after mentioned That is to say The
Cities of London and Westminster
with the Liberties thereof and the
whole hundred of Ossulston in the
County of Middlesex / save and
except the Parishes of Hempstead
