Events in which the
Guardianship ceases --

Art. 20. The Bondsmanship as well as Guardi-
-anship of a Friendly Guardian shall cease upon any
of the following events: viz:

1. His ceasing to be a House keeper within the King-
-dom of Great Britain: provided he give due notice thereof
to the Governor: otherwise his power as Guardian shall
have ceased, his obligation as Bondsman continue —

2. His having become insane —

3. His having been declared a Bankrupt —

4. His having made any general composition with his
Creditors —

5. His having taken the benefit of any Insolvent Act —

6. His having been a month together under confinement
in any Prison or Prisons within the said Kingdom —

7. His having been outlawed or convicted of any offence
of the degree of felony, or sentenced to corporal pu-
-nishment, other than imprisonment for less time
than as aforesaid —

8. His death: the obligation not descending upon his
Representatives except in respect of forfeitures in-
-curred during his life time.
