Sir
Upon enquiry I find you
have been the cause of the Waters being
cut off from M<hirend="superscript"> rs</hi> Leech's Appartments,
could not you have been satisfied in the
manner you received it without taking
such pitiful mean methods to obtain it
to yourself only. I have been informed of
the particulars of your proceedings in that
& other respects and must own I think
you are justly served. I shall act for
otherwise with you by no means undertaken
but fair & openly, and this I have to declare
to you that I have already prepared the
way to renew the Lease, and if your intentions
are such you must expect to pay
handsomely for it if you succeed in the
renewal. I am -
Your very humble Servt
