227 Dear Sammy As we had heard from you, nor seen you for so long a time, we began to be afraid you were not well or that some accident had prevented your coming up to town, but my brother met Mr Lownder in town t'other day, and Mr Gray dined with us last Sunday night. who both said that you were very well. My Papa did purpose coming down to Woolwich to spend a day there before he went out of town, but having been engaged in some particular business relation to the Barracks in propos'd to be built in the park, and preparing Petitions to the King in order to oppose them, which are now presented, he has had his time so much taken up that he has laid that scheme aside till the week after Whitsun Week when he will certainly certainly come;
