no dress clothes are of any use to me for I always wear
uniform. I can after my arrival from Siberia where there
was a fashion sprung up or rather ordered here at the
court for everybody to wear the uniform embellished
of of the province they have estates in or the department
they belong to I took advantage of the small pretence I had
for wearing the uniform of a Volunteer in our Navy.
a situation you may have forgotten perhaps I was
once in. This has been a wonderfull economy to me
but unluckily I had made up some new clothes before
this took place, which have since been useless. Anything
of the frock or kind would at any time be highly
acceptable. The buckles I rejoice at, having just now broken
a piece out of those I have.

I received a short time ago a letter from England directed
to me at Sir James's, without date or any whom
as from whence except that it begins "Seeds desired"
for Mr Lee", there follows a list of seeds. I have however
taken some steps to procure the seeds imagining it
to be a commission which originated from you.
