ascertaining the contents of letters
issued --

the said House a Letter Issuing Copy Book in which shall be kept
a true Copy of every such Letter issued therefrom: and in such Book
all such Letters as shall have been received through the said Post
shall follow one another in the order of the numbers which stand
annexed to their respective Directions in the Post-Letter Issuing
Direction Books abovementioned.

Art. 18. A Receipt Book and an Issuing Book similar to

those already directed to be kept for Letters received and sent by the
General Post shall also be kept for Letters by the Penny Post:
and on receiving and issuing Letters by the said Penny Post
the same directions shall also be observed.
