Brother of the Duke of Courland's. He had
twice paid his depts for him after having given
him his portion but he still continued this

and supporting all kinds of people who could
assist him in his schemes. I think it was in France
he committed his last Roguery on account of which he was
taken up and I believe sent over to Russia into confinement.
