The order in which Your Committee will
have to consider speak of <add>discuss</add> these several heads of the expense
of Police or necessarily retrograde of the

The order in which Your Committee find
it necessary to observe in speaking of these themselves under the necessity of observing in the
above their enquiries into the above four
three branches of the expenses flowing which
from delinquency of Police have delinquency for their source, has been is such as is prescribed
by the narrowness scantiness of their ability, stock of materials, and is the

Of the third fourth branch, the expence of punishment
Your Committee they are prepared to give have a proportion of materials
some tolerable for a tolerably connected account: of the expences attendant

prevention of delinquency
otherwise than by punishment, the best they can
give is a very imperfect one, and in regard
to the first head, the amount of the pecuniary

endeavours of Your Committee have confined
themselves to the pointing out how by
