Board may make
regulations for keeping
in status quo articles
offered to sale - impounding
part of the
purchase-money, an advertising for owners.
And to the end that time may be offorded in the case of property
to the owners of any goods or valuables lost whether
by depredation or otherwise
and in particular
in the case of [
or other ] Plate,
Watches, Jewels, or
other articles of considerable
susceptible
of distinctive marks
and of considerable
value
time may
be afforded to the lawful owner of such goods or
valuables for turning out and receiving the same,
it shall be lawful for the said Commissioners with
such allowance as aforesaid to make
enacting and Rules and Orders declaring in relation to all or any of
the Second-hand articles in respect of the purchasing whereof licences are to be
taken out under and by virtue of this Act, for
what length of time such articles after having upon their being
been offered to sale to any Dealer so to be licenced Purchaser <add>person a licence or
such licenced Purchaser as aforesaid as aforesaid shall in case of his purchasing
the or her making purchase thereof in
or her custody or possession in deposit without any
