And Be it further enacted that in
In the case when any of the such metal, semi-
metal or metallic mixture as aforesaid shall come shall be cast
smelted or molten hereafter to be smelted cast or forged any where in Great Britain
it shall be lawful for

the said Commissioners with
such allowance as aforesaid to make by-laws describing
what stamps or marks other distinctive marks shall
respectively be and remain exhibited thereupon,
and specifying in particular the names and places of manufacture
of the respective Miners <add>Smelters or Forgers Founders - the said
Commissioners having special regard to the con
Provided always, that in such Order of Council special
regard be had to the
convenience of such Smelters and Founders and Forgers, and
that as far as a any marks respect already in
use among such smelters and foundsrs and Forgers respectively
may be capable of answering the purpose
marks in use shall be ordered to be continued
the continuance of rather them that any alterations should
shall be required to be made in the same,
such marks: and moreover in the case where
any such metal, semi-metal, or metallic mixture
shall come to be impor been come thereafter to be imported or
come to be imported from foreign parts prescribing beyond sea to for ordain
and direct what marks shall be affixed upon the same upon
the importation there by the Officers of his Majesty's
Customs on the importation therof: as also and moreover
in the case where any such masses exist already
in the either (if imported) in the State in which the same
were imported or (if smelted or made <add>cast at home any where in Great Britain) in the state in which the same
shall have been so smelted or cast as aforesaid
without exhibiting any such
