4. Dealer in Purchaser of
second-hand Apparel

4. Class the fourth. Every person seeking his or her living by purchasing whether for sale any
or keeping open shop for selling any or by commission
any Second Hand Apparel (except Shoes) or any second
hand furniture or other articles composed and made
up in the whole or in part principally of Piece Goods, [+] [+] other than such as are commonly as have been employed as Naval Stores, or
any unmade-up shreds or remnants [8] of Piece Goods.
Licence duty, within the London Police District [£2];
elsewhere [£1]. Inscription, Licenced Dealer in Purchaser of Second-hand
Apparel, made up Piece- Goods, and remnants
for sale. Penal Sum in the recognizance, [ ]

5. Class the fifth. Every person who seeking his or for the purpose
of purchasing whether for sale of seeking his or her living, by purchasing (whether for sale or by commission) any Second-hand Apparel
made-up Piece-Goods or Remnants, as as last above
particularized under Class the fourth shall go about from House to House
or from Place to Place as a Pedlar. [+] [+] and not having
with him or her any
such Cart or Carriage
as hereinafter mentioned
( whether he
or she have or have not any fixed pl shop or place
of trade). Licence Duty, if the abode of such person such occupation be
shall be in any house lodging or other fixed abode
carried on at any time
for a week or more within the time comprised in his or her licence
within the London Police District, [ ] [£1];
if not elsewhere [10s]. Inscription for the House lodging or
other abode fixed abode of any of such Dealer [+] [+] as also for a
Badge [9] to be worn

by him or her according to such directions regulations
as shall have been
made by the Commissioners
herein after
mentioned, Licenced Itinerant Dealer Walking Purchaser
of Second-hand Apparel, made-up Piece-goods and
remnants for sale. Description to be worn in the form of a badge [9] as a badge or on
some conspicuous part of the apparel on a badge
over the shoulder of such Dealer. Licenced Itinerant
