of the mode introduced
a few years ago of
packing Salmon in
Ice, the Metropolis is
now supplied with
that species of Fish
from much greater
distances than formerly,
as well as in a
much better state of
preservation, and during
a Season of the
year in which it was
before thought impracticable
to bring them.
