It is now about four months I
am here spending my time in the
most pitiable manner. you may
well imagine that Prince Potemkin
has enough to think of here without
concerning himself about my
Siberian Business; so that without
having any reason to complain of
my treatment, my affairs are
nearly in the same state as
they were at my arrival.
Many/Everyother than me would find
amusement in the mean time
at being at the Source of all News
relating to the war; but having
Projects of my own I am become
of of the greatest indifference possible
for every thing in which I don't
meddle. It is near three weeks
that I have in my Pocket a Passport
