1. In the case where the proposed amendment is
the work of a Judge, by whom, as per Ch. XII. Judiciary
Collectively, S.20. Eventually emendative function,
indication of a supposed demand for amendment
has, in the exercise of such his functions been made,-
the task of giving expressions to the amendment, on the
supposition of it's being desireable, is placed in hands
best situated, for the giving to it the requisite properties
of clearness, correctness, all comprehensiveness,
and conciseness; and, on the part of the legislature,
much waste of time <add><hi rend="superscript">is</add> saved.</hi>
