Dear Sir
"I return your paper of hints after perusing
"it with much pleasure. I have no doubt but that if you
"were to go to work in good earnest you would do something
"considerable. Some of your queries you will
"find are solved in my printed volume, and others in
"the volume that is in the press. But a few I have
"taken hints of, and if I should, pursue them, I shall
"with ple make a proper acknowledgement. But,
"when the which is in the press is printed, I
"think to myself rest for some time, and attend to other
"things in which I find more satisfaction."
"I shall be very glad to hear from you when you begin to
"do anything, and am, with much respect
Dear Sir
Your very humble servant
J. Priestly."
