General Idea. A constant cause of calefaction whether lamp or culinary fire, constantly sufficient to maintain in the Tepidarium (Whether Air Chamber or Balneum) a degree of temperature above the degree required. The function of the Regulator being to reduce the temperature to the degree required. The heat where above the degree required acting on the Regulator causes it to open a Valve, which lets out a part of the air or tr??? of the Tepidarium and lets in cold air or water in the room of it.
