Unsophisticated common sense passes naturally
for ignorance in the eyes of with an English lawyers, and with
those whoever has been in the habit of viewing
objects with their eyes. The proper object of
visibility would here have been not the mistake
of man who for want of having been taught shown
were unable to divine the depths of absurdity
and impiety, but the rulers who beheld such
abominations and without a thought about
the cure.
