Musical Notes & being told that they cod not well

Instrument and it being found he had an Ear
and a Friend made him made him a present of a kind of
Violin called "a Kit", as he had an ear upon which he soon was
capable of playing several Tunes, which afterwards
encouraged me to let him have the assistance of a
Master of the Profession.
That he has at present, & has always been had
so much of the Philosopher in him, your Lordship I dare say will think is the less to
be wondered at when whe I tell you that many
of those who knew him when he was but five
years of age, used to call him the Philosopher
