Want of clearness

Want of clearness, as well as the ease of obscurity
as in the ease of ambiguity, may have its source and seat
in either of two places objects: i.e. in the place which
the word or phrase in question is made to occupy,
with relation to such other words or phrases as are
contiguous, or nearly contiguous to it.
N.B. Here insert from other pages written long
before this time, the several remedies to ambiguity
and obscurity, produced by miscollocation
