Another mode plan would be to make the Bills in
other respects of the nature of those last described, and in
particular in respect to the carrying interest, but to make
them payable not future time but paying
xxx interest and principal on demand. They might be made payable in this
way: the interest as well as principal if kept to a time
when interest according to the usual half yearly period<
is has : if presented before then, not interest and</del>
principal both, but only principal.

3. payable on demand, and for before and yet carrying interest as before

Another mode might be to make them payable
in the times last mentioned, except that as to the principal
on demand, but as to interest, not before the end
of a certain period, half yearly for example, that being
the period at which Government Annuities are payable
or yearly.
