Improperly in the extreme. That in relation to any given subject matter the quantity of Statute Law ... so ever is always similar ... of written matter every ... of which ... as good claim as any this to be stiled as part and parcel of the Common Law, the quantity import of Laws? ... has place in relation to that same subject matter is altogether infinite?.
If instead of unwritten? the matter of [/the socalled?] Common Law was stiled unatuhorised, the appellation thus given to it would be true and instructive.
Term ?? the same ... portion of discourse ... an account of individual facts as above, as having had place in this or that dindividual case, a different General Rule may have been deduced and contrasted? by every one of an indifinite number of persons.
By application made of the authority of th elegislator suppose mistakes to any subject-matter, & command constituted such a Law, a rule of Common Law [/deduced] as above ... and expressed in the same or other equivalent form may be stiled a [i/quasi-law]: a portion of discourse uttered? after the semblance? of a law.
