J.B. & HB. agreed as to
fundamentaly
Differences
1 H.B. states them in
ubiter J.B. at the
commencedment
To come at to fundamentals It is no small satisfaction to me to observe that my
learned friends and I agree on fundamentals. There Between however I regard
to these same fundamentals there is have two differences
1. the states then no ubiter, to serve a purpose,
in so many : neither at the beginning,
to give on the analysis the least to expectation; nor at the end, in the
way of inference. By no thing are pleased at the commoner
2 HB. in so many
parenthesis JB. in the
form of distinct propositions
2. By here they are stuck in in so many parentheses
by me, they are in the form of distinct proposition
each of them actually employed in forming the
groundwork for what every thing that follows
3 HB. departs from
these rules JB. never
without notice of exception
3. By him the rules of which they are respectively the expression
are to a wide no inconsiderate extent departed in the field of the subject from. perhaps over
the whole work the exception of the narrow step by which
they were suggested on which they their book. By
me the no rules is in any instance departed from without
notice given of the exception, all the of the announcement
< of the suit
