Your transcript of JB/009/021/002 has been checked and accepted by the Transcribe Bentham editors. This was another very good transcript, thank you! A couple of things to watch out for. There is no need to add a page break tag at the beginning and end of each page. The ‘PS’ on this page seems to be a catchword. A catchword is the first word of the following page inserted at the right-hand lower corner of a manuscript folio, below the last line. They appear quite frequently in Bentham's writings, and should be encoded in the same fashion as an addition. You can view the small changes we made to your transcript by following the instructions at this link [1]. This completed transcript has now been locked to prevent other users from altering it. Many thanks for your submission and contribution to the project!

Welcome to the Transcribe Bentham project and thank you for your first transcript of JB/009/021/001. This was a superb transcript for a first attempt – well done! You did a fantastic job with the text and the tagging. The main thing we altered was the headings. We tend to reserve the heading tag for headings of Bentham’s notes, rather than the beginning of correspondence like this. Many thanks for your submission and contribution to the project. We look forward to receiving more of your transcripts in the future!
