At the bottom of the page at utmost the repealing Section
taken in commencement — appear in a type of a
reduced size, preceded by — an asterisk* three lines of which
what more follows is a repeat *The author has added
by way of note to the Statutes which are partially repealed,
the substance of those Statutes which still remain unrepealed,
and applicable to the administration of the criminal laws.
By the asterisk here we are of course bid to look for the a
corresponding interest above no such mark reading of
relative reference is to be found. "The Author" where is he who
while we should be curious to see him. His Majesty

One use to which we have heard this group of Statutes
was spoken of as destined is — the having s Coaches and six
driven through them. If this effect be it be without design
that this property has been found belonging to them, we would venture
to propose that Mr Hamond should be called back
from his exile, to work then his expressed hand may be pleased the
business of making the necessary repairs.
