But all this barbarity and all this rapacity as in forces
of the one or the fear, and therefore legitimate and justifiable
and necessary and laudable: if it were a far of the many then
indeed it would be the reverse. For under matchless constitution
and English the claim of men and their happiness to require attention
and regard is not directly but invar as their numbers
such is the arithmetic of despotism and misrule.
