English Implications
All those institutions are good and the bare desire to make any
change in them a crime - and why? only because they use
English. English institutions? employed as we see it employed
the very phrase is a disgrace to those who utter use it, and an affront
to those to whom it is uttered used. If the thing is good, cherish it
so far as but no further than it is good. If it is bad, do
are you for cherishing it though it is bad, only because it is
English. The very phrase thus employed is a disgrace to them
who utter utter it and an affront to the use intending of
them not be whom it is uttered: an affront to their understandings-ings.
