with Mr Hiley Addington, one of the Secretaries of the Treasury. It
received a prompt notice. The notice taken of it was prompt.
AnotherA business of another kind had brought

any application on my part, into the official
chamber and presence of the Mr Vansittart now Right Honourable Gentleman.

facility of perusal the first and most essential parts of the
plan had been passed through the press constituting besides the
two Tables that will be seen three sheets of letter press] I believe
not many days I believe had elapsed before I received in
instruction when in pursuance to appointment I
repaird to his Official Chamber, at and found with him
in company with another Official Gentleman of subordinate
rank to hiswhose department a plan of the sort in question
was regarded as more particularly belonging.
