COINING AESTIMATION

A difference between Coining and other offences
upon property is that in that there is Habit
without intermission.

A Tradesman or other person in distress in want, or under other strong temptation may
upon the spur of distress set to work to forge
a draught Bill or take a Purse, to satisfy the present
craving, & that done he may cease;
but a coiner debtor forms a stock in trade, collects
correspondents, & sets about enters into a regular employment,
the exercise of which will not cease
but with the motive of his that general propensity <add>to accumulating which</add> gave
it birth.
