Simple Personal Injuries

Example suppose for instance that suppose if with a good intention you have
in order to save the life of a person bitten
in the finger by a mad dog, you cut off the
finger against his will. there.

1. If the dog was not mad at the time he bit
the person's finger, this was a mistake respecting
the present matter of fact.

2. Surely If immediate amputation does not cure, or if a cure
might be for a certainty be effected at a cheaper
rate, either of these are mistakes concerning the
probable matter of fact

3. If notwithstanding that the dog was mad at the
time and the amputation cures, and a cure could not
be effected at a cheaper rate the law does not
establish admitted if not of the concurrence of these circumstances as
a justification for cutting off a finger, this would be isa
mistake with regard to the matter of right.
