Continuance of
the business in
case of Death,
Bankruptcy &c.
§. 7. Provided always and be it further enacted
that upon the decease of any person such person so
licenced in respect of any place out of <add>not within the said London Police District
licensed person it shall be lawful to and
for any two or more of Justices of the Peace
for the Division in which such House shall be
situated to grant a licence to the allow at their discretion to any Widow,
or any Child, Executor, Administrator, Devisee person intitled to take
out Administration, or any other such person
to whom it shall appear who shall appear
to such Justices to be intitled to the temporary possession
of the such House and the Stock thereof,
whether in trust or for his or her own use,
to keep open such House for the exercise of
such this the trade or occupation in respect of which
the same shall have been licenced, untill the
next general licencing day at which it
such person, if approved of, would have it
in his or her power to take out obtain a licence: Provided
also that no person acting bona fide carrying such person as aforesaid, nor any servant
of the deceased nor any other person carrying
in such trade or occupation and acting therein bona fide for
the benefit of the estate of the deceased shall,
whether intitled so to act or no, be liable to
any penalty or f for any such act done
within 30 days after such decease although
no such permission as aforesaid should within
that time have been obtained.
