of them and he and they is and are hereby authorized to administer
such Oath or Affirmation to the said Person or Persons respectively And
further that every Person committing Perjury or forswearing himself or
herself on any such examination shall be liable to all the Penalties of
wilful and corrupt Perjury or forswearing in the same manner as if
such Perjury or forswearing had been committed in a Court of Record
on the Matter in Issue between the Parties to a Cause in that Court —

8.21 Petition in Chancery by any Person dissatisfied by any Award or proceeding of the Commissioners. - And be it further Enacted that if any one of the
said Parties or any other Person shall be dissatisfied with the Award
to be made by the said commissioners or with any proceeding on the
Part of the said Commissioners at any such Meeting as aforesaid It
shall and may be lawful for any Person so dissatisfied to make
Application in a summary way to the said High Court of Chancery
and that thereupon the said Court may and shall make such order
in the Premises as to the said Court in its Discretion shall appear
meet and best adapted for carrying into execution the several Purposes
of this Act and to that End the same Court shall or may either
make an Order upon the said Commissioners or Arbitrators for the
Direction of their Proceedings or issue a new Commission directed to
and Persons and including or not including any one or more of
the said Commissioners or Arbitrators as it shall seem meet to the
said High Court in its Discretion And that the Persons to whom
such Commission shall from time to time be directed shall from the
time of Sealing such Commission be Commissioners or Arbitrators
for carrying into Effect all the Powers and Provisions of this Act
And that in case any such Application shall appear to the
said Court to be frivolous or unnecessary or intended only for the
purpose of Vexation or Delay the said Court may order the Costs of the
