Radicalism not dangerous
III Experience
II Ireland
(3) Charlemont treachery
Grattan hypocritical
Behold at in the blindness of self interest and the unsuitability
of ambition! The profit of protecting all this many the many over not
maybe for the man without the glory of refusing it
In addition to this order of his noble friends , Mr Grattan had
another of his own but too a one in Ireland. This is the
trying to kill that of affray an opponent on condition of letting the opponent try to kill
him the offering for the chance of letting the opponent, the chance of
being killed by him. Turning to Sherdan's Index I find this note
of argumentation is employed in his instances by Mr Grattan
Such in the 18th and use in the 19th century more and more employed is still the supplement.
Now by the use of argument what is proved? The possession is a certain
degree of a quality possessed or a superior degree by of
in abundance: and in this may be seen a cloak, by which
so many now in such abundance are still ready to accept as a
cloak by which every other quality by which human nature can be
shewed and disgraced can be covered.
