As to the opinion which a attentive consideration
of the matter has impressed in any view I shall venture to mind, it will
d it with a much decision in this subject, as
in any one of those already mentioned. But as to the
ground of it instead of being developed as in these other cases, will here be
simply indicated.

Not that of these indications compressed as they are in
the will the amplitude will be found less expensive
than those observations may be seen to be in general
which by the two commitees in question appears to
have beb<add>een</add> destined to bet in the character of reasons.
But to different situations positions different modes of reasoning
seem adapted.

In a situation cloathed with authority, authority
generally is in possession either of of excluding
Reason altogether or at least of keeping her in the bth
ground. Opinion declarative of opinion is regarded as
the one thing needful and the only thing which in strictness
can be said to be so.
