fish exported to the Colonies— a premium nearly double the
amount of the Average Market price. (f.7) So that in fact
the Merchant engaged in the fish-trade with the Colonies
received ( independently of the allowance for the Ships Crew) the
value of his Cargo Three Times over, and the Minister States
(f.7) that the speculations were carried on for the produce of the
Fish but for the premium - notwithstanding this great benefit.
