C
Of Falshoods in general
Diff

It has already been intimated, that falshood, when
considird in the light of an offence of Forgery it will be is an offence
of the most extensive and the most heterogeneous nature. It seems and in any System of
Laws to dealt with any uniform and comprehensive
Plan. It covers if one may so say a larger
quantity of space in the circle of delinquency than what
is occupied by all other possible offences put together. By
Forgery every Falshood any pernicious design whatever may either be accomplished
or forwarded that can be accomplished by any other kind
of offence; and a great many which cannot be accomplished by any other.
