Provided & Enacted that no Person who shall be charged
or assessed free of ye parts to be made by virtue or in pursuance
of this Act shall hereafter so liable to or be charged with any
other Rates or Assessmts made or to be hereafter made by
virtue or in ursuance of any former Act or Acts
of Parliamt for or towd ye Paving cleansing or lighting the
said City & Libty Parishes & Places or any part thereof.

every Square yard belonging to such Lands Houses Shops Ware-Houses
Cellars Vaults or other Tenemts as shall not be so
situate, and wch are not now paved or begun to be so now
paved.

Provided that the Rate or Rates, assessmt of assessmts to
to be made laid & assessed do not exceed in any one year
1s/6d & in ye Pound of the Real or Rent, or yearly
Value of such Lands Houses Shops Warehouses Cellars Vaults
or other Tenemts in such parts as are or shall be now
paved; and 1s/ in ye Pound, in such Parts as are not
now Paved. Provided likewise that Houses Shops Ware-Houses
Cellars & Vaults shall pay but half of such
Rates or Assessmts during such Time as the same shod
be unoccupied.
