§ 11 Disarmed Memorial
I.1 (a) M John Fordyear Esqr the Surveyor General
to whom for dispatch and favour, I had addressed the Letter [§ ]
in the The I know not what opponents had got hold of
him: and by way of hunting and objections on
the score of salubrity, he had taken a Sco paid a visit
to the spot, taking with him a Scotch Professor
who had found what he called bells in it:
bubbles rising out of the water in the ditches.
The evidence of the persons who the inhabitants,
who knew whether they had been sickly or no as
well as the bells could tell them, was rather
more conclusive. There might have been At other times on other occasions
