§ J.Bs and H's language as to
Judges &c
Redesdale
Law and equity both
unanswerable
Such being the promises, what then is the ? declared
the antiquated compleatly and confessedly unapt system of
Procedure, and a new one? a new one deduced from the
greatest happiness principle and suited to the present improbably future
state of things? Oh, by no more the as quite out of the question
Why? because such is the garrulity of the age the substitution of a
Code free from surplusage to a Code composed of surplusage, is
by that same incble garrulity rendered imprintiative
Such th it is blunt in a car drawn by Lord Redesdale Lord Eldon and under above
him or under him Goddess Common Law and Goddess Equity
in athe case done by Lord Redesdale are borne triumphantly
over the necks of the whole host of adversaries, present,
past, and future.
—
Equity does not so much as pretend to do every thing:
and the comparatively though absolutely so excessive what she
does - every body who has to do with her sees and feels how she
does it.
