§. 1. Wrongful detention
Wrongful detention of the subject matter of property is where without justificative
cause, a person having in his possession the
subject matter of property & being by law bound either
spontaneously or at request as the case may be, to deliver
it up to the wrongee or permit him to take possession
of it, refuses or omits so to do but without any such
personal vexation as would give a different denomination
to the offence under this code.
§. 2 Wrongful asportation
Wrongful asportation of the subject matter of property is
where without justificative cause any person takes
possession of & bears away as if it were lawfully belonging
to him, a moveable subject matter of property to which
he has no sufficient title but without &c
§. 3 Wrongful destruction
Wrongful destruction of the subject matter of property
is where without justificative cause any person not
having sufficient title so to do, so deals by a subject
matter of property as to by some unlawful act any person causes or contributes to
cause a subject matter of property to cease to possess
any value but without &c
§. 4 Wrongful deterioration
Wrongful deterioration of the subject matter of property
is where without justificative cause by some unlawful
act any person causes or contributes to cause the
value of a subject matter of property to be in a
greater or less degree diminished but without &c
§. 5 Wrongful disturbance of occupation
Wrongful disturbance of occupation of the subject matter
of property is where without justificative cause by some
