Lying — is it then really so necessary, or on any
an occasion necessary to justice? exactly as much so, as the
fowl disease is to health. But in all Judges and all
other lawyers have joined in amplifying the affirmative: and
as they are the one ones who be the in preference if not
to the exclusion of all others are regarded as understanding
justice, all those to whom thought is in operation no
join with them in this belief and in the practical consequences
deduced by it
