The day on which a License is to commnces, shall be the 29th Commencement - Continuance
of september in evry year and no other : the term during which it is to continue
in force shall be one year and no longer.

A Every License, to be valid, must be signed by a majority Number of Justices to grant.

A Person of A Magistrate <add>who is any way concern'd in</add> the following occupations, to wit 1. Victuallers; 2. Maltsters 3. Brewers of Ale 26 G. c. 13. F. 11
or Beer; 2. Victuallers 3. Maltsters 4. Dealers in Ales or Distillers [of Spiritous Justices disqualified
liquors;] 5. Dealers in Ale or Beer; 6. Dealers in + Suppl.
spiritous liquors; 7. Innkeepers; shall be incapable of
[acting in the business of ] granting licenses. He shall not be reckoned into the number required to concur [No such person Justice II Suppl.

VIII

A license shall be void in the following cases and Circumstances making a License void.
no other. 1st If granted at any other time or place than
that apponted in pursuance of [Art. 3rd] 2nd If granted
by a less number or proportion of Justices that that required
by [Art. 6.] after deduction of any that are disqualified by
[Art.7.] 3. if made to commence from any other day than
that mentioned in [Art. 5.] or 4. If made to continue beyond
the term mentioned in [Art. 5.] that is it shall be void as to the whole
time by which it exceeds that term. 5. of the above If granted otherwise than in
pursuance of Art. 3c.

IX

Where a license is void the person who has the license it, shall be punishable
as if he had none.
