Of Courts of immediate Jurisdiction of the lowest order

1* Parish Courts extent of their territorial field of local dominion In every Parish , except as exept hereinafter is excepted
there shall be a Court of immediate jurisdiction:
and the boundaries of the parish shall be those
of the local jurisdiction territorial dominion of the Court unless where
otherwise ordained in pursuance of art.

2 of their intellectual ideal field jurisdiction of dominion The Parish Court shall have cognizance
causes appertaining to jurisdictions
of all causes , except as herein after is excepted .
stiled peculiar , as herein after specified - and such as are
herein after particularly excepted.

3 Their jurisdiction inclusive No other Court but the Parish Court
and the Sub-provincial Courts herein after specified
shall have pass any immediate jurisdiction :
except as herein-after is excepted the Courts of
peculiar jurisdiction herein after specified

4 Judges single In every Court of immediate jurisdiction
there shall be one permanent Judge and no more .

5 Judge ordinary the Minister This Judge shall be the Ecclesiastical Minister
of the Parish : except where the population
and opulence of the Parish has admitted if a Judge
ex professo <add>having has been appointed</add> in manner herein after indicated .

6 Occasional Judge Depute To the Office of every such immediate
Judge shall belong be annexed the faculty of
appointing Judges - Depute ; to be exercised in the
cases here and in manner herein after mentioned .
