2. These permanent flos standing danger What may be called the standing
danger of famine would be .
Hitherto the produce of the country not being regarded
as the sole resource, supplies from Britain and other
countries have been afforded, all along received and the habit on the one
part of looking depending upon for supplies on other the other
of the British Dominions Britain and its dependencies, and on the other, part
