1 Expence per head as per price in August 1795
£19: this multiplied by 2,000 the number of
Prisoners to be accomodated, gives - - - £38,000

2. Add subsequent intervening enhancement of expence,

3. Add again, expence of Surveyor's assistance |
at 5 per cent upon the above present expenditure

By the terms of the first rough Draught of Contract
as settled with Mr Nepian in August 1793, £12 wh
a year per head was the sum per head, nor was
any alteration made in this sum by the terms of the
Contract as settled with Mr Long in August 1795.
