Please note that clicking on MS JB/002/617/001 appears to open the transcribed MS JB/002/074/001

You might take another look when you review these, they now seem to be linking to 002/422/001 and 002/425/001 respectively ......

Hello Louise, It's nice to virtually meet you! Welcome to Transcribe Bentham! I hope you're enjoying it, so far? We'll speak at some point, no doubt. Best, D.

I've just been credited with completing JB/541/139/001 – it’s Ohsoldgirl’s.

Thank you for your encouraging report regarding my first attempt at transcription (JB/119/001/002). I believe, however, that one error was introduced by the revision. The final line now reads:

be of use. Mr Howard</hi>, whom every county and

I am not confident enough with tagging to know what exactly is causing the "</hi>" to appear in the transcription as it now stands.

Partially transcribed MS JB/119/074/001 does not appear to have a "Click here to edit" check box Keith Thompson

MS JB/106/039/003 has a reference to "Branch's engine the instrument for applying the pressure". I think this should be Bramah's engine. Joseph Bramah (1748-1814) was the inventor of a hydraulic press and is considered to be and important figure in the development of hydraulic engineering.

I've recently been credited with completing JB/150/370/001, JB/150/369/001 and JB/150/621/001 - not mine, I think.

Hi Tim. There are a couple of pages in my list which I transcribed in March and which seemed to have slipped through the net. They are JB/150/538/001 and JB/150/538/003. You might want to take a look at the page numbering around 537 and 538, 538/002,3 and 4 are actually related to 537 and 538 is a different document. Nice to see such progress being made on Box 150. I have been very busy for the last few weeks so haven't been able to do much but I should be back on board in the middle of the month. Regards Gill

In a recent updating of the "Top Contributors" table, I have been credited with 49,750 points. Actually, I only have 43,500. I think the 49,750 might belong to Mary Foutz - who has (temporarily, I assume) disappeared from the list.

Thanks Tim. I will use the save this password button and see if it doesn't solve my problem.

I have been having a problem lately. Maybe you know what's going wrong.

I sign into my account and start working on transcribing a page. After maybe 30 minutes I press Save this page.

And I get an error message saying I can't save the page because I'm not signed in.

Apparently I get signed out without intending to. This is odd, as I have never figured out how to sign out, even intentionally.

If you have a suggestion about avoiding this problem, please let me know. Thanks.

Hi Tim Was there supposed to be an attachment to this or am I missing a subtle joke? Keith

MS JB106/009/003 is written in pencil (except for a column which is replicated in JB106/009/002). Does this need to be transcribed? It is faint but readable Keith

This is a question for the technophiles and concerns iPads - is there an app which can enable TB files to be transcribed using the Flash Viewer option to view to raw data? Keith

In 086/001 the word is Commissary - I've found it in 088/001, knew I'd transcribed it somewhere!

Hi Tim, re your tweet on 26 September recently, which starts "March 1831, JB is aware of his own mortality..." linking to folio JB/107/360/001, I was wondering if the missing word in the folio prior to the word "improvement" is a misspelling of 'subtrahend', with Bentham spelling it 'subrahand'? Just a thought! D.

I will do it this afternoon. I worked all through the 'untranscribed' list for 537, so yes, there should only be the foreign ones left once all the locked ones are cleared.

I was reading your chapter on the project - very interesting, and what a leap in numbers there has been since the stats to July 2013 were compiled!

No problem, it's 537/314/002 - it's not one of mine but I can see you are tidying up Box 537 so happy to help.

Tim, if you can get the IT guys to extend my log-in time per session to 24 hours, that would be great! Thanks. Di.

Hi Tim, I've sent you an email re getting thrown out of a document today when I was reviewing it. The transcription desk seemed to log me out mid-flow, losing all my amendments to folio: JB/001/044/001. Can you check the email today if possible please and let me know the time limit for working on documents before the system logs us out etc... Thanks! Di.
