We think that the correct spelling of that word is 'Cocceji' - JB was either referring to Heinrich von Cocceji, or Samuel von Cocceji, both of whom were 17th and 18th Century jurists. It's not immediately clear to which one he meant. Many thanks!

Thanks for this one, Jan - those additions in the top right are awkward. To make life easier, we've changed them all into a heading since they contain info on the date and who the letter is to. The transcription interface isn't quite built for dealing with letters, and is perhaps something we need to address in the next phase of the project.

Nothing to be embarrassed about here at all - this is spot on. Using underlining for italics is perfect, and not to worry about the different sized headings either - they can be sorted out at a later date. Quite a strange little clipping JB kept hold of here! We're having trouble deciphering the note, though will try it again tomorrow with fresher eyes.
