Hello

Thanks so much for getting in touch about this.

Unfortunately the Transcription Desk has trouble registering when two sets of the tags appear together. So the transcription is accurate as it stands, even though there is a problem with the display of this line.

The tagging can be tricky but it looks like you are doing well so far! There is some advice about how to compare your submitted transcript with the final checked version here which may help too: http://www.transcribe-bentham.da.ulcc.ac.uk/td/Help:Feedback

All the best for your future transcripts. If you have any further questions, just send us a message.

Welcome to the Transcribe Bentham project and thank you for your first transcript of JB/119/001/002, which was an excellent effort. We have made a few small changes to your transcript, which can be viewed at [1].

One thing to watch out for is when a hyphenated word appears at the end of the line. You should transcribe the whole word, without the hyphen and then insert the
tag. If the hyphenated word is followed directly by a punctuation mark, include the punctuation mark before the
tag. If you have any questions, you can always send us a message. Thanks again and we look forward to receiving more of your transcripts in the future!
